MS Hydrophobic PES Membrane
Membrane Solutions Hydrophobic PES Membrane is prepared by hydrophobic modification process of sterilizing grade PES hydrophilic membrane, which is specially designed for rapid air filtration or sterilization ventilation, and it can also prevent liquid penetration or condensate clogging. Compared to traditional gas filtration media, PES hydrophobic membranes are resistant to Gamma irradiation and have virtually no change in mechanical properties after high-dose irradiation, making them particularly suitable for air sterilization applications that require irradiation sterilization.

Description
MS Hydrophobic PES Membrane is prepared by hydrophobic modification process of sterilizing grade PES hydrophilic membrane, which is specially designed for rapid air filtration or sterilization ventilation, and it can also prevent liquid penetration or condensate clogging. Features
Hydrophobic PES membranes are more breathable than PVDF membranes, and their inherent strong gamma tolerance is more stable than PTFE membranes, which can remove polluting particles and microorganisms in gases, and are mainly used for sterilization and filtration of air and gases, which can effectively keep the system sterile and breathable.
- Excellent hydrophobicity
- High air velocity
- Gamma irradiation, alkaline rinse sterilization, and autoclave resistance
- Reliable retention of particles, aerosols and microorganisms
- High heat and mechanical resistance
- Passed 107 CFU/cm2 Brevundimonas diminuta (ATCC 19146) retention test
- No release of insoluble particulate matter to meet USP 788 requirements; Low dissolution and precipitation, in accordance with USP 661 requirements
